Our Crews on the Work That Drives the Schedule

Commercial work succeeds or fails on the trades that everyone else waits for: demolition, framing and drywall, and the finishes at the end. Those are the trades we self-perform. As prime, that means our own people control the schedule instead of chasing subcontractors. As a subcontractor to a prime, it means a trade package that shows up staffed, priced from measured quantities, and run by the owner.

Every proposal is built line by line — material and labor in separate rows, quantities traced to the drawings, production rates stated — so your estimator can check our number against the set instead of taking a lump sum on faith.

What trades do you self-perform?
Demolition, drywall and metal framing, ceilings, masonry, carpentry and millwork, flooring and tile, and painting and coatings. Other trades are managed under our supervision when we are prime.
Do you bid through BuildingConnected?
Yes. We accept invitations through BuildingConnected and directly by email. Send the package and the due date; the quote comes back as a line-item breakdown by trade.
How is your pricing structured?
Quantities measured from the drawings, material and labor in separate rows, production rates stated, and an alternate wage basis carried when the project is publicly funded. No allowances presented as quantities.
Are you insured and bonded?
General liability of $2,000,000 with certificates naming the prime or owner as additional insured on request; Virginia contractor license bond and DC surety bond in force. Project-specific bonding requirements are addressed per solicitation.
